Ahilyanagar — renamed from Ahmednagar in 2024 after Ahilyabai Holkar — has been automating agriculture longer than most of Maharashtra has had electricity: Pravaranagar hosted Asia's first co-operative sugar factory, pioneered by Vithalrao Vikhe Patil. That mechanisation heritage runs deep in the district's engineering colleges, and this track channels it into farm robots at our Nashik facility.
Engineering and diploma colleges we recruit from
Priority pipelines: Padmashri Dr. Vithalrao Vikhe Patil College of Engineering (Vilad Ghat) and Pravara Rural College of Engineering, Loni on the engineering side, with Government Polytechnic Ahmednagar leading the diploma stream. Degree students from AJMVP's New Arts Commerce & Science College round out mechanical and electronics cohorts — students here grow up around working machinery, an instinct our build floor rewards immediately.
From cane-crushing halls to crop fields
District industry already knows what automation costs and what it saves: co-operative mills along the Pravara basin have run heavy rotating plant for three generations. Robotics for field crops is the same discipline pointed outdoors — and Ahmednagar-belt students grasp the maintenance realities faster than most.
