Marathwada's farms run on numbers most analysts never see — canal rotations under Jayakwadi, cane and oilseed cycles, monsoon variability that decides whole seasons — while Sambhajinagar's campuses turn out more data-capable graduates than local industry knows what to do with. This track pairs the two: predictive models and dashboards built on real agricultural data, done remotely, with production review standards that make the work count beyond a certificate.
Data-capable graduates, finally a local outlet
We recruit from GECA's computer engineering stream, Marathwada Institute of Technology's MCA and CS programmes, Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College, Deogiri Institute, and Government Polytechnic Aurangabad's IT diploma. Python and SQL fundamentals are the entry bar; we teach the agricultural domain and the visualisation stack from there.
Dashboards for a district that runs on agriculture
The analyses interns produce land in front of people making planting, irrigation, and treatment calls — not into a slide deck nobody opens. For students used to watching their project work evaporate after submission, analysis that gets acted on is a different experience entirely.
